Windows 11 Picture application: video editing function has been cut off
October 9, 2022
The video editing function of Windows 11 picture application has always been controversial.
Many users think that this function is too simple and can only produce video clips similar to slides, which is meaningless when Windows 11 has a built-in video editor.
Microsoft changed its image application after one year: video editing function was cut off
In the latest beta version, Microsoft has made major changes to Windows 11's image application once again a year later, removing the video editing function. If users still want to use it, they can search for "Microsoft Photos Legacy" in the app store to download it.
While removing the video editing function, the new version introduces the gallery view function, which is committed to simplifying the process of browsing, finding, managing and using your favorite photos.
The image application after this major change will be pushed to users in the latest Dev test version, and is expected to be officially launched to all users in October.
